Retired from his duties as a naval aviator and a NASA astronaut aspirant, Jerry Werner is a loving husband and a grandfather. Nowadays, he enjoys his retirement period between two vibrant cities, Manhattan and Montreal.

His experiences are as diverse as his writing prowess. After retirement from the US Navy, he moved to the business world in the complex field of energy conversation. He even served as an adjunct college professor for 20 years and later became the leader of his business management consulting firm.

Werner’s diverse experience and love for his grandkids inspired him to start this new chapter as an author. With his first book, Grandpa’s Adventures in The US Navy: Soul Searching On the Way to Mars (Volume I), he is leaving a legacy of value and adventure for his readers.
